Hi, WordPress plugin is some branch of code to add some extra code on WordPress. There are many plugin users can find from wordpress.org site there is 3 way to add a plugin to your WordPress site.
Add a Plugin To WordPress site
For adding a WordPress plugin go to plugins menu located at WordPress admin panel then you van be able to find or see the installed plugins, now click on add new button located above the plugin list table. there is 3 way to add a plugin to your site.
- Search on the search field located at the top right side of plugin listing table -> after searching there will appear many plugins -> chose your target plugin from the list appear after searching -> now click on the install now button of your target plugin it will take some time as it will be download from the located hosting-> now click on activate link to activate the plugin
- If you want to upload a plugin from your computer then click on the upload plugin button located at the top left portion of the plugin list then select the zip file from your computer and click upload-> now a activate link will appear you have to click on it to activate the link.
- also in another way you can upload a plugin from the computer fro that you have to open FileZilla of Cpanel and then have to upload the unzipped plugin to root-folder/wp-content/plugin folder and then have to go to plugin link from admin panel and activate the link.
Deactivate a plugin
to deactivate a plugin user have to go to the plugin link from the admin panel then have to find your target plugin and then have to click on the deactivate link located at just below the target plugin’s title.
Delete a plugin
to delete a plugin user have to go to the plugin link from the admin panel then have to find your target plugin and then have to click on the delete link located at just below the target plugin’s title.
Edit the code of the Plugin
edit the code of the plugin is very sensitive portion as you will edit the PHP code of the plugin a little mistake may cause of your plugin damage. For that go to plugin link from the admin panel and then click on the edit link of your target plugin now select the page or portion you want to edit. and then click on the Save button.
